It started with a simple problem — there was no decent internet on a cattle property outside Richmond. In 2016, William Harrington decided to fix that himself. What began as a single fixed wireless link grew into Wi-Sky QLD, serving rural properties across North West Queensland.
As the network grew, so did the demand. Towns wanted faster, more reliable connections. That's where Sky5G came in — bringing 5G fixed wireless to regional centres like Richmond, Julia Creek, Hughenden, Cloncurry, Winton, Croydon, Georgetown, Normanton, Karumba, and Dajarra.
Today, we run both services under one roof. Same local team, same commitment — just different technologies for different needs.
